Greetings and welcome to Victorious Life Ministries. This is an educational and training site. It does not matter what your religion is or whether you do not have a religion. If you are interested, called and empowered by the Spirit of G-d, and willing to study and learn, you will move into your destiny both in the ecclesia (those called out of the religions of man here on Earth) and within the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven. I look forward to sharing with you your journey and progress.
This site requires critical thinking skills. These skills are taught in many colleges and universities, but not all, and it does not require a college degree to learn them. Critical thinking means that we put aside previous learning and opinions. It means setting aside emotions, too, so that we can look at things clearly and without learned biases. For our purposes, here, it means setting aside the religious teachings we were taught and the religious structures we were made to believe are of G-d. (While G-d is not a name, it’s a descriptor, like magistrate or judge. However, it is written without the “o” as a sign of respect for our Creator-Father, Who told us to respect His Name and never use it in vain. Although it it not His Name, we still do this as a sign of respect for Him.)
Please start with our series of articles entitled, “Basics,” because its far more than what you may think. It’s about the fundamentals of G-d’s purpose in creating us, who we really are, what we are expected to accomplish with our lives while here on Earth, when we are in history, where we came from, why we are here, and how we are to accomplish our destinies.
Our Basics series begins with our five senses and shows their place in the Beginning of Creation as well as their place, today. For example, what was G-d’s purpose in giving us our five senses? Is this related to His making us in His Image?
We will be dispelling many myths and exposing many false teachings, which are also called doctrines. We will start with this one: King and prophet David of the House of Judah exposed the lie that G-d spoke and His Words instantly became the Creation. We will be discussing this passage of insight from David from different aspects, but, for now, we will look at how he dispels that myth of G-d’s Words instantly taking solid form and highly intricate creations:
The heavens declare the glory of God, the dome of the sky speaks the work of his hands. (Complete Jewish Bible, Psalm 19:2)
Did you read it critically? Possibly not. Do you see how King and prophet David, son of Jesse of the Tribe of Judah, dispelled the myth that G-d spoke and His Words instantly took form? If you don’t see it, yet, please read it until you do, perhaps slower each time.
Now do you see it? It’s in the second part of the sentence. Actually, the myth is dispelled in the last five words: “the work of his hands.” Not the work of His Words. Not the work of His Voice. The work of His Hands!
What is the first thing we learn from those five words? G-d works! What’s the second thing we learn? G-d has hands! And the third thing we learn? That G-d used a process and was personally involved in building the Creation!
This is how we use critical thinking skills. Now that you have an understanding of how we use our critical thinking skills to understand G-d, His Creation, and His Instructions, let’s begin with Basics: The Beginning. Welcome aboard!
